Bravo Hop Candy, by B Hoppy
Bravo is a super high alpha acid variety developed by the Hopsteiner Breeding Program, and released in 2006. Bravo hops are excellent bittering hops with 14%-17% alpha acid level. It is known for its fruit and floral aroma making it ideal for American Style Pale Ales and India Pale Ales. As a fun fact, Bravo was developed from the Zeus hop and it has good resistance to powdery mildew. Don’t worry though, there is no powdery mildew on this delicious Hop Candy!
Some notable beers made with Bravo include:
-XII by Firestone Walker
-Russian River IPA by Russian River Brewing Company
-Extra Special Bitter by Anderson Valley
-Hop Sauce by Rubicon Brewing Company
