Gold Color 304 Stainless Steel Beer Faucet

304 Stainless steel is the absolute best material on the market for use with any draft system. This is a Gold Color 304 Stainless Steel Beer Faucet.  Only 304 stainless steel ever contacts your beer, wine, cider, cocktail, soda, or other product.  Whenever we have a choice we choose stainless steel over chrome or nickel-plated brass.

A brass beer faucet can impart a metallic flavor in beer which will, we promise, lower sales. What’s worse is that the pitting of the chrome on the beer faucet can harbor bacteria and cause turbulence in the beer flow.  This means off-flavors in your beer and a foamy product.  Both of these things reduce sales.  However, the Gold Color 304 Stainless Steel Beer Faucet is a PVD Brass color with 304 Stainless on the interior.  You get the beautiful brass look with only the highest end material in contact with your product.

Every MicroMatic tower today is all 304 Stainless Steel with 304 Stainless Steel Beer Faucets.  If you have an older tower or aren’t putting in a fully made tower than you might like the gold color 303 Stainless Steel faucet.  Gold Color 304 Stainless Steel Beer Faucets are harder stainless steel, a requirement for pouring high acid product like sodas, wine, and ciders.

Beer Faucet Break Down

When pouring a beer from a beer faucet it is important to open and close the faucet quickly.  It seems to make sense to open the faucet part way to slow the beer flow down to cut back on foam.  Actually, this not only makes the foam worse but bartenders use this trick to intentionally put the nice foam beer head on a glass.  Open the faucet quickly in one motion and close it in one motion!
